Self-Employed Roofer

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Roofer to join our growing team at Target Maintenance. This is a self-employed, site-based role working on a variety of commercial maintenance and roofing build-up projects.

You’ll carry out maintenance, repair works, and assist in solar panel and insulation system installs. You’ll need a good basic understanding of roofing structures and a commitment to working safely, especially at height.

A 7.5 tonne licence would be a big advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill in leaks using cement or other suitable materials
• Install solar panels and insulation systems
• Work out project timeframes and costs for proposals
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times, particularly when working at height
• Check for weather-related damage and carry out necessary repairs
• Restock and organise roofing materials
• Liaise with site managers and other operatives

Must Haves

• Experience in roofing maintenance, repairs, and build-up
• Ability to work safely and responsibly at height
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Nice to Haves

• 7.5 Tonne (C1+E) Driving Licence
• Experience working on commercial maintenance contracts

• 10 hour days door to door - (get paid to travel to work)
