Are you a passionate and committed SEN Teacher with a focus on SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs?
We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and welcoming primary school in Stretford, Trafford. This is a rewarding opportunity to support and inspire children with SEMH and other additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

• Lead tailored learning for pupils with SEMH and additional needs across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (dependent on experience)

• Develop personalised support strategies and behaviour plans

• Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral staff, and external agencies to provide holistic support

• Create a safe, calm, and structured classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and understood

• Be an integral part of our SEN team, driving forward our whole-school approach to inclusion

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong understanding and experience of supporting children with SEMH needs

• Knowledge of strategies to manage emotional regulation, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour for learning

• Empathy, patience, and resilience in challenging situations

• A collaborative mindset and a passion for making a difference

• A supportive and inclusive school community with a commitment to mental health and wellbeing

• Specialist CPD and training in SEMH, trauma-informed approaches, and behaviour support
