The Role
As an SEMH Secondary Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across your subject specialism.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students with SEMH needs.
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider pastoral team.
Support students to develop both academically and socially through personalised learning approaches.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience working with students with SEMH, SEND, or other additional needs (desirable but not essential).
Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, resilient approach.
Is passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of young people.
Has high expectations and a commitment to inclusive education.

Permanent full-time position from September 2026.
