SEMH Specialist – SEMH Provision

Location: Stafford & Dudley
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for experienced Behaviour Specialists and Teaching Assistants to work within SEMH provisions across Stafford and Dudley.

You will be supporting children and young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and additional needs, helping them engage with education and develop positive behaviours.

The role will include:

* 1:1 and small-group support

* Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation

* Building positive relationships with young people

* Supporting learning and development

* Taking part in outdoor activities and practical sessions

* Working closely with teachers and support staff

Requirements

* Previous experience working with children and young people is essential

* Experience with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs is essential

* Calm, patient and consistent approach

* Strong communication and behaviour management skills

* Relevant education, care, youth work or support experience is desirable
