SEMH Teaching Assistant / Support Role - Sheffield

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an established school trust in Sheffield to recruit an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant / Support Role to support pupils within a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) setting.

We are looking for experienced, resilient and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and can build positive relationships with pupils who may require additional behavioural and emotional support.

The Role

Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional development

Building positive and trusting relationships with students

Working closely with teachers and support staff

Helping create a calm, safe and positive learning environment

Supporting pupils to engage successfully in school life

This SEMH Teaching Assistant / Support Role is based in Sheffield and would suit someone with relevant experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs.

Pay: £95-£125 per day

The daily rate offered will depend on several factors, including:

Experience: Candidates with a good amount of relevant SEMH, SEND, behavioural or education experience may be considered for the higher end of the scale.

Availability: Consistent and flexible availability can be a key factor when determining the rate.

School budget: The final rate will also be subject to the school's available budget.
