Semi Senior Accountant

This fantastic opportunity is for a part-qualified accountant who wishes to gain experience in accounts preparation across a diverse portfolio of clients in various sectors. The role is office-based and within a friendly team that will support the applicant through their studies towards ACA or ACCA. It is a dynamic role which will challenge and reward in equal measure with room for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of draft Financial Statements for all business types for Partner review
• Liaising with clients as and when necessary, by phone and email
• Preparation of VAT returns for multiple business types
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• The preparation of management accounts and assisting Senior Accountants and Partners with unique tax planning situations

Qualifications/Skills

• You must be minimum AAT qualified and working towards ACA or ACCA qualification
• Experience of working within a Private Practice
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
