Semi Senior Accountant

£30,000 | Full-Time | Onsite (5 Days/Week)

I'm currently working with a long-standing, family-run accountancy practice based in North Birmingham that’s looking to welcome a Semi-Senior Accountant to their friendly and collaborative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or qualified ACCA professional, or a fully qualified AAT accountant, who’s ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and well-established firm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and finalising accounts for limited companies
• Completing company and corporation tax returns
• Managing bookkeeping and accounts using software such as Xero, both in-house and at client sites
• Supporting a variety of clients, including sole traders and limited companies
• Handling client queries with confidence and professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

• ACCA (newly qualified or qualified) or AAT (fully qualified)
• Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency with Xero and general bookkeeping software
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
• Someone who’s happy to share their office with the firm’s beloved office dog!
