Semi Senior Accountant

Sheridan Maine is pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a dynamic accountancy team in London. This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop their skills and gain exposure to a variety of accounting functions.

Key responsibilities.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
• Assist with VAT and payroll processing.
• Collaborate with senior accountants on audit and compliance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  
  

What we’re looking for.

• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts preparation or bookkeeping.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a UK accountancy role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and team player attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
