Are you a part-qualified accountant or experienced accounts assistant ready for your next step in a supportive and forward-thinking practice? I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a long-standing accountancy firm based in the heart of Liverpool city centre, known for building genuine relationships with clients and offering a collaborative, down-to-earth working culture.

This role would suit someone coming from a small or medium-sized firm background, looking to grow their experience in a well-rounded practice role with exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients.

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

• Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts

• Supporting clients on cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)

• Working closely with senior team members and partners

• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and offer support

• (Optional) Some exposure to tax work depending on experience and interest

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified

• At least 2 years' experience in practice (small or medium firm)

• Solid understanding of accounts prep and cloud software

• Confident communication skills - comfortable with client contact

• A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
