Semi Senior Accountant

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their practice based in Newport, Isle of Wight

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Ideally AAT qualified, but practice trained candidates will be considered
• At least 3 years recent practice experience
• Experience working in a varied and busy environment

The role entails:

• Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing VAT returns
• Bookkeeping (experience using both cloud and desktop based software)
• Preparing self assessment tax returns
• Dealing with client queries relevant to level of experience

The salary for this role is negotiable
