Reed Maidstone are working with a small and friendly team who are looking to add a Semi-Senior Accountant on to their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 2 years of experience in practice, encompassing accounts and bookkeeping, and potentially payroll.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Handling a variety of accounting tasks including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and possibly payroll processing.
• Utilising accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks to manage financial data.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance documents.
• Supporting senior accountants and engaging with clients to provide financial advice and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Circa 2 years of experience in an accounting practice.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
