Are you an experienced practice accountant looking to take the next step in your career? We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Huddersfield that's looking to add a Semi-Senior Accountant to their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a practice environment and is keen to continue developing their skills in a varied and client-facing role.

• Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Handling VAT returns and management accounts
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting systems
• Assisting with tax computations and liaising with HMRC
• Working closely with senior team members and partners on more complex assignments

• Experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
• A team player who's keen to learn and grow
