A fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified semi senior audit professional to join a growing audit team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors, ideal for someone looking to develop technically and progress toward qualification in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

• Support the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a range of clients

• Perform detailed audit testing and analytical review procedures

• Prepare audit working papers in accordance with professional and internal standards

• Identify potential audit issues and communicate findings to senior staff

• Liaise with clients to gather documentation and understand business operations

• Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and project budgets

• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements

• Stay updated on relevant accounting and auditing standards

• Actively studying toward a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA / ACCA)

• Experience working within an audit function in a UK accountancy practice

• Good understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102 (knowledge of IFRS is advantageous)

• Familiarity with audit software tools (such as CaseWare, CCH, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
