Semi Senior Auditor Accountant

Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a top 100 Accountancy Practice located in Derby, who are now seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a competitive starting salary along with an excellent benefits scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Semi Senior Accountant to join a growing, forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will be responsible preparing year-end financial statements and management accounts, calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities, build and maintain client relationships as well as mentoring junior members of staff.

• Prepare year-end financial statements and management accounts to support client goals.
• Calculate tax liabilities and provide tax planning advice.
• Build lasting client relationships.
• Train and support clients with Xero.
• Collaborate across teams for seamless service delivery.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Mentor and develop accounts trainees.

• Minimum 3 years' experience within Accountancy Practice
• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification beneficial
• Previous experience with IRIS or CCH beneficial
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Salary dependent on experience, with the typical industry range for this position being £28- £34K
