Semi Senior to Senior Accountant

A fast-growing accountancy firm are looking to expand their team, hiring into a key Semi Senior to Senior Accountant position. The firm allow for flexible working and the office is easily commutable from locations including Mansfield, Worksop, Alfreton, and Hucknall.

The role will involve managing clients, aiding with any client queries, accounts preparation, VAT, and some bookkeeping work.

The firm are open on the level of hire from Semi Senior up to a Senior/Client Manager level and those actively studying will be provided with full study support.

Key responsibilities:

• Accounts preparation (sole trader, partnership, limited companies etc)
• Preparation of corporation tax calculations and returns
• Preparation of personal tax returns including appointment (face to face or telephone) with the client
• Client queries, calls, meetings and ad-hoc touch points
• Meetings and calls with new clients as required
• Complete technical accounts and tax research for clients and report to directors or discuss with clients directly
