Job Description - Semi Senior/Trainee

A well established, highly professional three partner firm in mid Kent are now looking for an active studier with a minimum to 2 years experience in practice to join an expanding, dynamic team. This role is office based 5 days a week and reports to the Senior Manager. Duties will include:-

Responsibilities of the Semi Senior/Trainee

  • All aspects of bookkeeping, including preparing month end accounts
  • Assist with audits from preparation to completion
  • Assist with tax filings both corporation and personal
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Statutory filings

Requirements of the Semi Senior/Trainee

  • A minimum of two years experience in practice
  • First rate inter personal skills
  • Knowledge of accounts preparation and tax
  • Excellent systems skills including Excel
