Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Semi-Skilled M.E.T Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim work within a Bodyshop/Workshop setting. The role requires flexibility to learn and perform various tasks, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

The hours will be Monday-Thursday 8.00am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

M.E.T Work: Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim tasks with competence and precision.

Welding and Fabrication: Engage in welding and fabrication work as needed.

Vehicle Preparation and Body Repairs: Assist in the preparation of vehicles, including body repairs.

Paint Spraying: Support paint spraying tasks to maintain vehicle aesthetics and quality.

Additional Duties: Undertake any other tasks required to support the smooth operation of the workshop.

Qualifications and Skills:

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in M.E.T tasks with a willingness to expand skills in welding, fabrication, vehicle preparation, and paint spraying.

Strong adaptability and eagerness to learn various aspects of Bodyshop/Workshop operations.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
