The Opportunity

Joining a growing finance team, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, taking ownership of day-to-day accounting activities while developing trusted relationships and supporting businesses with their financial reporting requirements.

No two days are the same. You'll be involved in everything from management accounts and statutory reporting through to bookkeeping, VAT, year-end processes and helping drive smarter, more efficient ways of working.

You'll also collaborate with colleagues across both the UK and UAE, making this an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience within an international consulting environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
Supporting year-end reporting and external audit processes.
Building strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assisting with UK VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
Working closely with colleagues across international teams.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology.
Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

You'll ideally bring:

✔ Around 5+ years' accounting experience gained within practice or industry.

✔ Strong bookkeeping, management accounts and financial reporting experience.

✔ Knowledge of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs, with UK GAAP exposure advantageous.

✔ Experience preparing statutory accounts.

✔ Strong systems experience across Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

✔ Advanced Excel skills and confidence analysing financial data.

✔ An interest in process improvement, automation and using technology to drive efficiencies.

✔ Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

✔ A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience within private equity, commodities or financial services would be beneficial but isn't essential.
