Job Description - Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the electrical manufacturing sector, who are looking to add a Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler to their team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience in wiring and assembly work, looking for stability, growth, and a supportive working environment.

Job Title: Semi-Skilled Wireperson / Assembler
Location: BS21 - Clevedon
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Salary: £25,202 – £26,026 per annum
Hourly Rate: £12.60 – £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies for control panels, enclosures, and associated components.
Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and schematics.
Carry out cable preparation, stripping, crimping, and terminations.
Assist with basic mechanical assembly tasks.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct basic quality checks on completed work.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly is desireable
Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams and technical documents.
Proficient with hand tools
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
