Job Description - SEN Administrator

SEN Administrator
Pay: £100-£120 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only
Enfield, North London

As the SEN Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the SENCo and wider SEND team, ensuring that the administrative functions related to SEND provision are efficient, accurate, and compliant with statutory requirements.
This is a crucial role that helps ensure our SEN processes run smoothly, enabling staff to focus on delivering the best outcomes for our students.


SEN Administrator Role:
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the SENCo and SEN team.
* Maintain and update SEN records, including EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans), IEPs, and support plans.
* Organise and minute SEN reviews, annual reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
* Liaise with parents/carers, external agencies, and staff to support communication and follow-up actions.
* Manage and track deadlines for EHCP reviews and ensure all statutory documents are submitted on time.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and data for internal and external use.
* Support with the coordination of SEN assessments, interventions, and referrals.

SEN Administrator Requirements:
* Experience in a busy administrative role, preferably in an education or SEN environment
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor)
* Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
* Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
* Previous experience supporting a SENCo or inclusion team
* Familiarity with EHCP processes and terminology
