Full-Time Position | Temp-to-Perm and Permanent Roles Available | September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of outstanding SEN schools and provisions in Northampton looking to appoint skilled SEN Class Teachers for full-time roles starting in September 2025.

Whether you're an experienced SEN teacher or a primary/secondary teacher with a genuine interest in special education, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing, inclusive setting where you can make a lasting difference in pupils' lives.

Your role will involve:

• Planning and delivering personalised lessons tailored to pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, MLD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties

• Creating a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

• Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to provide holistic support

• Using EHCPs and assessment data to guide learning and set realistic, aspirational targets

• Fostering independence, confidence, and positive behaviour through a child-centred approach

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching in an SEN or mainstream setting

• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and creativity in their teaching

• Understands the importance of communication and routine for pupils with SEN

• Is confident managing behaviour positively and adaptively

• Is open to long-term roles with the potential for permanent placement
