Responsibilities:

• Assist students with physical disabilities in the classroom, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks.

• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised learning plans for students.


• Support students in developing social skills and building confidence in group activities.


• Use appropriate equipment and resources to support the physical needs of students in the classroom.


• Monitor the progress of students, providing regular feedback to the SENCo and classroom teacher.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children with physical disabilities is essential.


• Experience in providing personal care, including assistance with mobility, feeding, and toileting, is required.


• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach are key to this role.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents.


• A clear DBS check.


• Legal right to work in the UK.
