Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Teacher in the leadership and management of the school.
• Lead the development and implementation of the primary curriculum.
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff and pupils.
• Manage pupil behavior and discipline, maintaining a focus on pupil welfare.
• Engage with parents and the community to enhance the educational experience.
• Oversee the effective use of resources to support educational goals.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and policy-making process.
• Act as a role model, demonstrating exemplary teaching practices when necessary.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with extensive experience in SEN education.
• SEN qualifications.
• A proven leader with experience in school management.
• A deep understanding of the primary education curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and innovation in education.
