What your day might look like:

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to meet a range of learning needs.
• Supporting pupils with SEN to grow in confidence, develop literacy skills, and achieve their best.
• Creating a classroom environment where every pupil feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
• Collaborating with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and colleagues to adapt resources and strategies.
• Taking part in wider school life – from assemblies and clubs to school trips and celebrations.

What we’re hoping you’ll bring:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 – KS5 is a bonus).
• A good understanding of SEN strategies and a flexible, pupil-centred approach.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for inclusive teaching.
• A warm, approachable manner and a collaborative spirit.
