Role Details:

Location - Cheltenham
Salary: £95 - £110 per day paid weekly (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Start: ASAP

You will support a tailored education for children with special educational needs, ensuring they have the same opportunities as their mainstream peers.
Every student follows a personalised learning plan designed to support their individual needs which you will support the implementation of.
You will work alongside a skilled team, delivering targeted interventions and fostering a positive learning environment.
A welcoming and supportive environment where you will make a real difference every day.Key Responsibilities of a Mentor:

Supporting learners on a 1-1 basis with their learning and personal development needs.
Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support progress.
Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential.
Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.Key Qualities Academics is seeking:

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
A genuine passion for helping children with SEN succeed.
Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities.
