Class Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Partner to join the Interventions Team at this School in Stevenage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or education professional who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Immediate start available.

The Role

* Position: Learning Partner

* Location: Stevenage

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

* Contract: Full time, term time only

* Start: ASAP

As a Learning Partner, you will work as part of the school's Interventions Team, providing flexible and responsive support to learners throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the school's on-call provision

* Providing one-to-one and/or small-group support to learners during lessons

* Assisting learners with their personal care needs

* Working closely with other members of staff to ensure learners receive appropriate and consistent support

* Helping to create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment

* Building positive relationships with learners and encouraging their engagement and development

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

* Dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing

* Patient and understanding when supporting learners with a range of needs

* Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team

* Adaptable and able to respond positively to different situations throughout the school day

* Experienced in supporting children or young people, ideally within an education or SEN setting

* Committed to helping every learner reach their potential

* Comfortable supporting personal care needs where required

Previous experience working within a specialist education, SEN or intervention setting would be advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience.
