Job Title: LSA SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £20,000 - £21,956 per annum

The school is looking to appoint an LSA SEN Teaching Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week during term time plus one additional week. The successful LSA SEN Teaching Assistant will provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs, disabilities or specific medical needs, including administering individual students' medication following appropriate training.

The successful LSA SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent

Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities is desirable

The willingness to undertake appropriate training to administer medication

Strong communication skills when working with students, parents, staff and other professionals

A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach

A positive and professional attitude
