Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Rate: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the School:
We are collaborating with an outstanding special needs school in Leeds, dedicated to supporting students with a variety of special educational needs (SEN). These include autism, learning disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will be working as part of a close-knit team to support students in overcoming barriers to learning. You will play a key role in ensuring that students receive the tailored support they need to succeed.

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of SEN, helping them to engage with lessons and activities.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering personalized learning plans that meet the needs outlined in students' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them to develop the skills needed to engage with learning.
* Work with the SENCO to implement strategies that promote an inclusive classroom environment.
* Encourage students to develop their confidence and independence in their learning.

What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
* A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
* A genuine passion for working in education and helping students overcome their challenges.
* The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual students' needs.
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

To be eligible, you must:
* Have the Right to Work in the UK.
* Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to apply for a new one.
* Provide two professional child-related references.
