Inspire. Support. Achieve. Are you a dedicated Maths teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? A vibrant and inclusive SEN school in Ealing is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEN Maths Teacher to join their committed team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with a range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). The successful candidate will deliver creative and accessible Maths lessons that build confidence, develop core skills, and foster a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages (KS3-KS4, with some functional skills)
Adapt the curriculum to suit a range of learning needs and EHCP outcomes
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and multi-agency teams
Track student progress and provide tailored feedback to support individual development
Maintain a calm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and intervention strategies in Maths
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Proven experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN or alternative provision setting
Strong understanding of a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
Excellent differentiation and behaviour management skills
A creative, compassionate, and student-centred approach to teaching
