SEN Provision Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants available to work on a long term basis within an Mainstream School SEN Provision or in a SEN school in Harlow.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across primary or secondary with a range of age groups and learning abilities, you can choose on the age group you prefer to work with, if you are flexible across the year groups and key stages, that would be great and give you more opportunities on roles.

Work closely with pupils presenting ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, additional learning needs and behavioural challenges.

Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage engagement in learning.

Assist with behaviour management strategies and create a safe, structured environment.

Support teachers in delivering lessons and provide one-to-one or small group interventions.

About You

Essential: Prior experience working within a SEN setup so provision or school, PRU (Pupil Referral Unit), Alternative Provision, or similar setting.

Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural difficulties.

A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting challenging behaviour.

Flexibility to adapt to different age groups and settings within the provision
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
