SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | East London

£100-£117 per day | Full-Time

Remedy Education are looking for a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school in East London.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable supporting older pupils and understands how to adapt their approach to meet a range of additional needs. You'll be working closely with teaching staff to help pupils stay engaged, develop their independence and make progress both academically and personally.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of SEN

Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support

Helping pupils access lessons and classroom activities

Supporting communication, confidence and independence

Helping pupils manage behaviour and emotional regulation

Assisting with interventions and personalised learning

Building positive relationships with pupils

Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience working with SEN pupils in a secondary setting

Strong behaviour management skills

A calm, patient and resilient approach

The confidence to support pupils with complex needs

Good communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for working within specialist education

Location: East London

Full-time | £100-£117 per day
