SEN Supervisor - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or someone with a background supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, regulate emotions, and achieve their full potential within a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide classroom supervision and support for pupils with SEND.

Deliver targeted interventions and support learning activities.

Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement support plans.

Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.

The ability to adapt learning and support strategies to meet individual needs.

Previous experience in a school, care, youth work, or support setting is desirable.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
