Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and personalised learning activities. Provide one-to-one and small group support. Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic development. Promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive classroom environment. Assist with personal care where required.
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential. A patient, compassionate, and positive attitude. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A willingness to learn and adapt to individual pupil needs. An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous but not essential Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
