SEN TA - Redbridge

A well-led primary school in Redbridge is seeking a thoughtful and skilled SEN TA to join the SEND team from January 2026. The SEN TA will support pupils with diverse additional needs, deliver targeted small-group work, adapt resources for accessibility and help implement behaviour plans. This SEN TA role in Redbridge starts January 2026, with induction and handover planned prior to January 2026.

The SEN TA will liaise with the SENCo, contribute to review meetings and support pupils during lessons and at social times. The Redbridge school values compassionate SEN TAs who can combine practical classroom support with careful record-keeping and constructive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in-class to access the curriculum and to practise taught skills.


• Deliver targeted interventions and maintain records to inform SENCo reviews.


• Adapt materials, assist with sensory regulation strategies and support personal care as needed.


• Promote positive behaviour and social skills during lesson and breaktimes across Redbridge.


• Contribute to transition planning and to multi-agency meetings when required.

Person specification

• Experience working with children with SEND, delivering interventions and supporting classroom access as a SEN TA.


• Empathetic, organised and able to communicate effectively with staff and families in Redbridge.


• Able to commence January 2026 and to attend induction and training before January 2026.
