Job Description - SEN Teacher

Role: SEN Teacher
Start Date: September | Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Horley

Randstad Education is working in partnership with a dedicated specialist School in Horley to recruit a skilled SEN Teacher. If you're someone who values holistic learning and wants to be part of a team that prioritises emotional wellbeing alongside academic success, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time and a permanent role starting in september

About the School

This supportive and well-resourced School caters to students aged 7-16 with a range of complex special educational needs. With small class sizes, high staff ratios, and a strong therapeutic focus, the School creates an environment where every child feels understood, respected, and capable of success. Education here is not just about curriculum-it's about confidence, life skills, and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised lessons that align with EHCP outcomes
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning and behavioural needs
  • Work collaboratively with LSAs, therapists, and family members
  • Support students in developing emotional regulation and resilience
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and development
  • Promote a culture of kindness, consistency, and respect
