SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for learners with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and autism
Implement sensory-based strategies to support behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support EHCP targets
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleaguesSEN Teacher - Requirements

Must hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
Experience supporting pupils with SLD, autism, and sensory behaviours is essential
Strong behaviour-management skills and a calm, compassionate approach
Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
