Essential Requirements

To be considered for this SEN Teacher role in Shirley, you must have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Strong knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
The right to work in the UK
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate assessment and progress records
