Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, develop, and execute lessons that cater specifically to the needs of students with various learning disabilities and challenges.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their personal best.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to stimulate learning and participation.
• Assess and record students' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to maximise student learning and well-being.
• Participate in school events and activities, bringing energy and enthusiasm to your role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
• Experience in special educational needs (SEN) settings is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage and support SEN students effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking and flexibility in teaching methods.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to developing the potential of all students.
