A secondary school in Redbridge is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting secondary-aged students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a well-established secondary school in Redbridge


• Teach and support secondary-aged students with a range of SEN, including ASC, SEMH, and more


• Plan, develop, and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students


• Collaborate with SENCOs, teaching staff, and support teams to create a holistic approach to learning


• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure student success


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and academic growth

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Experience teaching in a secondary school, ideally with students with SEN


• Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, including behaviour management and differentiation


• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Enhanced DBS check required
