SEN Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education is on the lookout for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Waltham Cross area. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, perfect for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a primary school setting.

This school has a nurturing and structured environment and is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, depending on needs such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language delays. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant here is crucial - you'll be helping children access learning, regulate behaviour, and make real progress both socially and academically.

• Full-time, term-time only (Mon-Fri)

• Supporting children with a range of SEND in KS1 and KS2

• Located in a supportive school in Waltham Cross

• September 2025 start - interviewing and trial days taking place now

• Daily rate of £82.14-£100, depending on experience

• Has prior experience supporting children with SEN (formal or informal)

• Is patient, empathetic, and proactive

• Has a good understanding of how to support pupils with autism, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges

• Is keen to work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt support strategies

• Is committed to improving outcomes for every child
