Sen Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burton.

The curriculum is described as enriched and varied, encouraging children to be challenged and to push themselves. The school has high EAL cohorts and supports children with additional needs / EAL.

This role is ideal for an experienced teaching assistant who wants to make a lasting impact in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
– Provide support to individuals and small groups
– Help create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
– Work collaboratively with staff to promote pupil progress

Requirements:
– Level 3 qualification or equivalent is desired, but not essential
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A positive and enthusiastic approach
– Previous experience in a primary school setting

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
