TimePlan Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Poole.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to make a real difference in the classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support that helps every student reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs

Assisting with lesson delivery and adapting resources to meet individual needs

Promoting inclusion, independence, and confidence in all learners

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children with additional needs (in a school or care setting)

Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
