The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

Within this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be required to work closely with primary school SEN pupils aged 3 to 11, creating a nurturing environment for them to thrive removing barriers to learning so the pupils can succeed academically, socially and emotionally. You must help students understand lessons by explaining tasks in simpler ways whilst still encouraging independence while giving the right amount of help. You will also be required to support their emotional regulation, behaviour and their social skills.
