Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who thrives supporting children with additional needs? We’re seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, inclusive primary school in Harrow working with a Year 4 class.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting children with special educational needs across their learning, behaviour and social development in a Year 4 setting.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalised strategies and interventions.
• Helping to create a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere where pupils feel safe to learn and grow.
• Supporting small group work, one -to -one sessions and mainstream lessons as required.
• Contributing to the planning of engaging activities and adapting resources to suit individual needs.
What we’re looking for:
• Prior experience working in a SEN or KS2 classroom (essential).
• A calm, patient and flexible approach, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of SEN support, inclusive practice and behaviour management.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with children, staff and parents alike.
• Commitment to safeguarding, high expectations and the school’s inclusive values.
