Salary: £88.94 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to support students in a warm, inclusive school setting in Margate. Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):

Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students with a range of SEN needs.
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities designed to meet individual targets.
Promote emotional well‑being, independence, and positive behaviour.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Contribute to monitoring and recording student progress.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):

Experience working with children or adults with SEN is essential.
Applications welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in healthcare, nursery settings, care work, youth work, or activity leadership.
A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to supporting learners.
Ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
