This is a hands -on opportunity where you will:

Willingness to commit to job -specific training and ongoing professional development.
Ability to self -evaluate and proactively seek learning opportunities.
Understanding of equality, discrimination, and safeguarding issues.
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
Experience working in an educational or care setting.
Familiarity with monitoring and assessment of pupil progress.
Knowledge or training in First Aid, PECS, Team Teach, or other relevant SEND -related programs.
Interest in communication or sensory needs.
Basic IT skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
Understanding of curriculum requirements and how pupils learn.
Ambition to progress within an educational environment.
