The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

A Secondary SEN School in Hackney is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. You will support students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities. The role involves providing one-to-one and small group support, promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping students reach their individual learning goals. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have a patient, nurturing approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff while contributing to an inclusive and positive learning environment.
