SEN Teaching Assistant

The role will include:

Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
Work with students who require additional support, monitoring childrens needs and reporting these to a designated person
Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social). Foster growth, self-esteem and independence, observe and record development.
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Nottinghamshire with the following:

Level 3 or equivalent desired
Primary School experience in the UK
Good communication skills
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
Driving License Preferable
