SEN Teaching Assistants Needed – Barking

Protocol Education are currently looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Barking on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a real difference to their learning and development.

The role:

Full-time position within a primary school in Barking.
Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and/or small-group basis.
Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support pupils' learning and development.
Helping pupils to access classroom activities and build their confidence and independence.
Supporting with behaviour, communication and emotional regulation where required.
We're looking for:

Previous experience working with children with SEN.
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs within a school or educational setting.
A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
Someone confident providing 1:1 and small-group support.
A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
