Learning Support Assistant Needed for Specialist SEN School in Bolton

About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support students aged 11-16 with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Assist pupils in accessing lessons and engaging with classroom activities Deliver targeted interventions and learning support programmes Promote student confidence, independence and self-esteem Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff Contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of students
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people in education, care, youth work or support settings A positive, patient and flexible approach The ability to build strong relationships and act as a positive role model Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs Knowledge of SEN, autism, SEMH or ADHD (beneficial but not essential)
